Regional Overseer (R.O)

It was created in 2004, by our late Archbishop Rev. Dr. Pius Dyegeh of blessed memory with its headquarters at Faith cathedral Katsina-Ala. The region had its pioneer regional overseer in person of Bishop Augustine Natti, who is now the director of administration of the ministry. Rev. Sylvester Ihongo came on board as the regional overseer in 2007 and he is succeeded by Rev. Terkura Tule who took over the mantle of leadership as the current regional overseer in February, 2017. The area of the region covers churches located in the local government area of Katsina-Ala, Kwande, Ushongo and Vandeikya. It has 10 districts with 10 district overseers and head quarter churches at the various districts. Katsina-Ala region has a total number of 23 commissioned churches and 31 mission churches. Katsina-Ala regional officials are the regional overseers, the regional secretary, regional ladies/president, regional treasurer, regional youth president and regional ANEM Tiv gospel music coordinator.

1. Like any other region in the ministry, katsina-Ala region operates within these specific objectives - To evangelize and open more churches in the region; for the ministry.

2. To develop the regional headquarters as required.

3. To create new districts, to boost the work of Christ in spreading the gospel in urban and rural communities.

4. To support and sponsor missionaries in carrying out the gospel of Christ in line with the divine great commission, take the word of the cross to the utmost part of the world.

By the grace of God, the regional overseer and all the other officials; pastors, church leaders in the various department and the teeming members of the churches within the region has helped the word of God in the region to yield positive results.


As a growing region, under the leadership of the newly elected regional overseer has made remarkable improvements in almost all quarters; the region has improved in meeting up its financial and budget requirements from 2017. In the area of evangelism, the region has recorded the creation of 10 mission churches for the year 2017 through crusades and evangelism week. In the area of infrastructure also, Faith cathedral Katsina-Ala, the head quarter church of the region has witnessed a significant transformation.
